The Centre for Financial History was founded in 2008 and is based at Darwin College. Our core mission is to facilitate cutting-edge research in financial history and to encourage its application to economic theory and to public policy. The Centre serves the Cambridge community as one of the seven constituent centres of Cambridge Finance.

The researchers involved in this interdisciplinary initiative include professors, graduate students and undergraduates from across the university, representing such diverse fields as computer science, media studies, performance, and engineering.

My research is focused on the use of molecular genetic approaches to the study and conservation of wildlife, particularly orang-utans. Since Fall 2016, I am a Visiting Scientist in the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Where I direct the Molecular Ecology and Evolution Laboratory at Henry Vilas Zoo. I originally trained in Zoology at the University of Aberdeen. For my honours thesis, I investigated the effects of forest disturbance on wild B.
